Today our nation says goodbye to Nancy Reagan, who brought grace and dignity to the White House and complete faithfulness and loyalty to her husband.
Together, Ronald and Nancy Reagan embodied the character of our nation. They inspired great prosperity and patriotism, making an indelible mark on so many of us who came of age during the Reagan years.
As we mourn the loss of Mrs. Reagan, we can take solace in the fact that she is reunited with her beloved “Ronnie.” And as a party, we can recommit ourselves to principles they both stood for — limited government, individual liberty and empowerment, and the best kind of American exceptionalism.
