Ohio’s 15th Congressional District is located in central and southern Ohio. It includes Athens, Clinton, Fairfield, Hocking, Madison, Morgan, Perry, Pickaway and Vinton counties, as well as portions of Fayette, Franklin and Ross counties.
With the suburban areas of Columbus, the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, and the rich farmlands that sprawl across much of the remainder of the region, the 15th District offers some of Ohio’s most prominent attractions. Its points of interest include Ohio University as the first university in the Northwest Territory, the hometowns of Civil War heroes William Tecumseh Sherman and Philip H. Sheridan, numerous state parks including Hocking Hills and Old Man’s Cave, and the vibrant and entertaining Arena District in Columbus.
Whether cheering on the Blue Jackets (hockey) and Clippers (baseball), or enjoying local fairs and festivals, the 720,000 residents who call Ohio’s 15th Congressional District home can be very proud of their communities, schools, universities, and contributions to society.
